Karen and I are Episcopalian, and attend St. Andrew's Cathedral in Jackson, Miss. I began visiting the Episcopal church in about 1999, and Karen and I started Catechumen classes in the fall of 2002. We were confirmed in 2003.
A lot of you may not be familiar with the Episcopal church - I know I didn't much about it before I started investigating. Hey, you might like it too!
Want to see pictures of the EFM group's trip to work on the coast? I'm there, really - I'm just the woman behind the camera!
And just what is EFM anyway?
Education for Ministry, affectionately known as EFM, is a program of theological
education-at-a-distance of the School of Theology of the University of the South.
I am finishing up year one (at the time I made this page anyway) and looking
forward to year two! I am really, really enjoying this program.
If you are interested
in theological studies which are academic in nature, I highly recommend EFM! Have
questions? Want to discuss EFM to see if it might be for you?
Write to me!
